Bempower is the development and empowerment arm of BizEx Limited, established in 2018 to create practical solutions that address the challenges faced by marginalized communities in East Africa.
Our journey began with a simple belief: sustainable development is possible when communities are given the tools, skills, and resources to shape their own future. From the start, technology has been at the heart of our approach, enabling innovative solutions in education, livelihoods, health, WASH, and climate resilience.
Over the years, Bempower has grown into a multi-sectoral development organization, working with women, youth, and vulnerable groups to improve access to entrepreneurship opportunities, clean water, quality education, health and nutrition, food security, and environmental sustainability.
By combining technology, training, and partnerships, we co-create locally relevant solutions while strengthening the capacity of local organizations, ensuring that change is long-lasting and scalable. From smallholder farmers to urban youth entrepreneurs, our programs have empowered thousands of individuals to build resilient livelihoods and thriving communities.
